To recognize and thank individuals who have been particularly important to Gothenburg as a meeting city during the past year, Göteborg & Co invited them to a ceremony at the City Hall. On Wednesday, ten ambassadors received diplomas for their efforts. These have, through their expertise and reputation, played a crucial role in Gothenburg hosting meetings. Individuals representing areas ranging from medicine, law to science and technology, were attending.

Mayor Aslan Akbas handed out the diplomas, and management representatives from the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology attended when the ambassadors received recognition for their outstanding efforts.
